Tales of Erotica

Tales of Erotica is a series of four separate shorts directed by renowned directors Bob Rafelson, Ken Russell, Susan Seidelman and Melvin Van Peebles. The various short films star Mira Sorvino, Cynda Williams, Arliss Howard and Aida Turturro.

Bob Rafelson's short is known as Wet. This segment stars Cynda Williams as Davida, a woman who shows up at a bathtub showroom to perhaps by a new tub. But she insists that she must try out the tub at the showroom before she will purchase it.

Ken Russell directs The Insatiable Mrs. Kirsch. Ken Russell also stars in his own story about a writer who develops a fixation with another guest at the hotel he is staying in.

Susan Seidelman's film is The Dutch Master. Mira Sorvino plays Teresa, a woman obsessed with a famous Dutch painting. After days of staring at the painting, it suddenly comes to life, including the man in the painting that fascinates her.

Melvin Van Peebles rounds out the stories with Vroom Vroom Vroooom. This is a classic tale of a man and his love for speed and hot women. Leroy is given a motorcycle by a voodoo mistress, and the motorcycle changes into a sexy woman.
