Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Beginnings

Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Beginnings is the first of three films based on the Madoka Magica anime. Beginnings serves as a recap of the first several episodes, following friends Madoka and Sayaka as they are courted by a strange being from another world. He tries to convince them to make contracts with him to become magical girls like their new friend Mami. While Madoka is hesitant, Sakaya is determined and accepts the contract. But not all is as it seems, and magical girls in this world have a much more clouded history than is generally thought of them.
