Patient Zero

In the year 2018, a pandemic has decimated the world's population, turning people into violent, cannibalistic beings. The few remaining uninfected humans are desperately searching for a cure before they too succumb to the virus.

Natalie Dormer stars as Dr. Gina Rose, a scientist who is working with a group of survivors in an underground bunker to find Patient Zero – the first person known to be infected – in the hopes of finding a cure for the virus. Stanley Tucci stars as The Professor, a seasoned scientist who has been working on a cure for years but has not been successful.

Matt Smith plays Morgan, a survivor who is immune to the virus but has the ability to communicate with the infected using a unique language that he has learned. His powers make him a valuable asset to the group's mission, but also put him in danger as the infected recognize him as different from other humans.

The majority of the movie takes place in the underground bunker, where the group is conducting experiments on the infected in hopes of finding a cure. As they investigate the origins of the virus and try to decipher Morgan's language, tensions rise among the survivors as they begin to question each other's motives and allegiances.
