Pane, burro e marmellata

Pane, burro e marmellata, meaning bread, butter, and jam; is an Italian comedy from 1977. Bruno is a well-loved television personality, yet his wife Sofia has abandoned him. While Bruno still has feelings for the woman, his attempts to call her are confounded upon discovering that his phone is currently out of operation. Bruno quests to find a phone that works and encounters three women living under the same roof. The women are so affected by his gestures that they do everything in their power to make his life easy. While things seem idyllic, reality soon steps hard on Bruno.
