Number 13

Number 13 is a British horror film that follows a young academic who visits a small town on assignment to help authenticate some recently discovered documents from the local cathedral. As he is working on his research he stays in the town's hotel, but notices the hotel has no room number thirteen. He ignores this fact, thinking that the number's absence is due to mindless superstition. Later as strange occurrences happen during his stay, this skeptic has to come face to face with the supernatural and witchcraft.
