Kayla

A seven-year-old girl navigates the path between her old life in America and the new life she is coming to know after she moves to her mother's native China. Following the untimely death of her father, and her mother falling ill, Kayla must now grow up fast and find a way to deal with loss while still helping her mother. Kayla's courage inspires those around her, and her singing spreads light and happiness, as she struggles to carve out a new life for her family.
