Hanzo the Razor

Honzo the Razer is a Japanese film that focuses on an officer in Edo who learns about an infamous killer no longer on the island prison he was assigned to. Not knowing if the prisoner was ever there, Honzo sets out on an investigation that drives him forward along a dangerous path. From the magistrate's mistress to the killer's ex-lover, Honzo must sort through the complicated clues in order to get to the root of what really happened. Among the threat of being killed himself, Hanzo uses unparalleled methods of interrogation to eventually discover the truth.
