Hammerhead

Hammerhead is a British crime thriller film that was released in 1968. It was directed by David Miller and stars Vince Edwards as an American agent named Charles Hood who is tasked with investigating the activities of a wealthy businessman named Mr. Hammer (Peter Vaughan).

In the meantime, Sue finds herself caught up in Mr. Hammer's schemes and is kidnapped by his men. Hood must race against time to find Sue and to prevent Mr. Hammer from carrying out his plans.

The performances of the three leads are excellent. Vince Edwards is convincing as the suave and tough American agent. He brings a sense of urgency and danger to his performance, making him a compelling protagonist. Judy Geeson is also impressive as the love interest. She is both vulnerable and strong, making her character sympathetic and relatable. Peter Vaughan is excellent as the villain, Mr. Hammer. He exudes a sense of cool, calculated evil that makes him a formidable foe for Hood.

The film is well shot, with some beautiful scenes of London and some impressive action sequences. The music is also notable, with a groovy, jazz-inspired score that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the era.
