Ng, as Clara, showcases a highly praiseworthy performance, encompassing a diverse range of emotions while capturing the heart-breaking loneliness and desperation of her character beautifully. She brings a comedic element to the movie that effectively balances the seriousness of its themes.

Adrian Pang plays the character of Renu, an eccentric and idealistic has-been playwright, who finds himself in a professional and creative crisis. He and Clara cross paths in the mall as they both are trying to escape their realities. Despite being polar opposites, their alliance and interactions bring a dynamic change in their lives. Their relationship develops into something that Singaporean society would hardly expect or accept.

A third character comes into play, Aaron Kao's pivotal role as the playful and innocent Hsien Loong. A teenage employee at one of the mall's trendy sports stores, Loong harbors dreams of becoming a pop star. He recognizes the mall as a gateway to the world's possibilities, where he witnesses people's behaviors, transactions, and lives unfold, thereby helping him grasp the good, bad, and ugly aspects of society.

Wee Li Lin expertly intertwines the three characters' stories within the playful environment of a shopping mall.
