Meanwhile, the survivors try to find a way to stop Jason once and for all before he can do any more damage. The film features the trademark violence and gore of the series, with Jason dispatching his victims in a variety of creative ways using his trusty machete, as well as other deadly tools he finds along the way. As the survivors try to evade and defeat Jason, they also have to confront their own personal demons and fears. The film's highlights include the iconic scene of Jason walking through Times Square, as well as some suspenseful moments aboard the city's subway system. While the film's title may promise a full-fledged rampage through the Big Apple, some fans may be disappointed by the limited amount of time spent in Manhattan proper.
