Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere

This film from India was directed by Arjun Hingorani in the Hindi language. It recounts the story of several friends residing decades ago in Bombay (now Mumbai). Panchu (played by Balraj Sahni) subsists largely on his wits in the city's streets, sometimes engaging in gambling to survive. He helps support his younger brother, a student. Panchu's fortunes change when he falls in love with a kind woman who assists his brother in paying his school fees so that the young man can remain in school. They wed, only to face a series of challenging events just a short time later.
