Twenty years ago, the Wallace Family lived deep in the woods surrounding the small town of Old Hickory, Tennessee. After a terrible murder/suicide fell upon the family, rumors circulated around town, and quickly turned into ghost stories about a grotesque, mutated kid, that now haunts those very woods. Now in present day, Scott's friends, Kyle and Jessica, plan a weekend camping trip with the intention of breaking Scott out of his post breakup depression by setting him up with Jessica's friend, Michelle. Their plan to bring Scott and Michelle together, quickly turns into them being torn apart by the urban legend that haunts the very woods they're camping in.
