Children of the Corn: Runaway

In Children of the Corn: Runaway, the story follows the journey of a young woman named Ruth (Marci Miller) who has lived her entire life in a cult-like community of children that worship a malevolent entity known as He Who Walks Behind the Rows. Ruth has been raised to believe that the outside world is evil and that her community is the only safe place for her. However, after witnessing a disturbing incident, Ruth begins to question her beliefs and eventually decides to leave the community and venture out into the real world.

As Ruth makes her escape, she is pursued by Isaac (Jake Ryan Scott), the leader of the cult, who will stop at nothing to bring her back to their community. Along the way, Ruth meets a young boy named Aaron (Gavin Taylor) who is also on the run from the cult. Together, they embark on a dangerous journey through the rural countryside, encountering various obstacles and challenges as they try to stay one step ahead of their pursuers.

As Ruth and Aaron continue their journey, they come across a small town where they meet a woman named Sarah (Sara Moore) who runs a boarding house. Sarah takes them in and gives Ruth a job at her diner, where she begins to slowly acclimate to life outside of her former community. Despite her newfound freedom, Ruth still struggles with the trauma of her past and the fear of being discovered by the cult.

As Isaac and his followers close in on Ruth and Aaron, they are forced to confront the truth about their community and the ugly reality of the cult's beliefs. Along the way, Ruth must make difficult choices and fight to protect herself and those she cares about.

Children of the Corn: Runaway is a suspenseful thriller that explores themes of cult indoctrination, the struggle for freedom, and the resilience of the human spirit.
