Following his Uncle's (Barclay) mysterious death, he is assigned to recover his late uncle's potential treasure. With his martial arts skills and Chinese wisdom, Wang becomes a figure of intrigue against the backdrop of the Wild West. On discovering that Dakota holds a crucial clue to the location of this treasure, Wang comes to America, and they both join forces, albeit reluctantly at first but gradually developing a camaraderie that becomes the highlight of the film.

Their unusual alliance plays out against a background of eclectic locations across the American west and Chinese sceneries, intermixed with encounters with wild outlaws, suspicious officials, and dangerous encounters. Throughout this, both men remain focused on their goal – recovering the treasure that rightfully belongs to them, which is no small feat.
