He is the violent, sinister foil to Russell's, Michael. Who, on the other hand, is somewhat a light-hearted and charming anti-hero. Michael’s character has a softer edge brought out by his attachment to Cybil, a small-town woman portrayed by Courtney Cox, and her little son, Jesse. Their evolving relationship provides a good counterbalance to the otherwise tense and action-packed storyline.
