Vanishing of the Bees is a documentary from the UK that looks at humankind's connection to the honeybee and how the relationship has changed over time. Filmmakers George Langworthy and Maryam Henein cast British actress, Ellen Page, to narrate the film. The directors film apiaries across the world in search of some answers as to why bees are becoming an endangered species. Page opens the documentary narrating the honeybees' significance in the world over the last 500 years, starting with the Aztec's praying to their bee god and continuing to farmers in France celebrating their honeybee festival.
