Arthur Louis Zetes is the son of a rich businessman, and is constantly under threat from exploitative people or rivals seeking to kill him. Utterly disgusted with people, the only person he fully trusts is his robot maid Marie. Marie is stoic and capable and unable to lie or betray Arthur, or so he believes. The truth is, Marie is human: she is a former kickboxer who was in financial debt, partly because she was so good at her job nobody wished to fight her. Marie must now do her best to protect her new employer as well as keep her human nature a secret to keep her job. Complicating things are the affection that an unaware Arthur gives to Marie, which she can't help but feel back towards him.
