Train of the Dead

Train of the Dead, originally titled "Suay... Laak Sai," is a thrilling horror film from Thailand released in 2007. The train, empty apart from them, starts to move through the pitch-black night, into the heart of darkness and the unknown.

Young and innocent Koi (Savika Chaiyadej) is part of this group of thieves. Despite her absence in the actual heist, she gets dragged along into the unfolding chaos by virtue of association and falls victim to the mysterious supernatural powers at play inside the train. Sura Theerakon skillfully portrays the character of 'Poochit,' another member of the gang, who despite his hardened exterior, is visibly shaken by the otherworldly events unfolding around them.

As the train hurtles forward into the darkness, the gang members begin to realize this is a journey from which they may not return. They are antagonized by a force that exceeds the natural, supernatural beings bent on exacting a heavy price for their ill-gotten gains. The robbers find themselves haunted and pursued by these ghosts of the past, spectral figures hidden in the shadows and dark corners of the train. A cat and mouse chase ensues, with the robbers desperately looking for a way to escape this ghostly train, while evading the wrath of those haunting it.

Despite the grim reality they face, internal conflicts flare up within the group. Trusts are broken, friendships are tested, and the possibility of betrayal looms ominously, further escalating the tension. Through this turmoil, the horrific past of this train begins to unravel before the trapped thieves.
