My Brother Mike: A documentary about soulful music, mental illness and family love. Independent film maker and mental illness advocate Lisa Sheridan, produced the film My Brother Mike and the CD soundtrack Tuesday Side of the Street as a tribute to her brother, songwriter and blues rock pianist Michael Sheridan. When Lisa learned that her brother was having memory loss, after many decades of his living with mental illness, she began the five year project of preserving some of her brother's work. The film is an intimate portrait of Michael in interviews showing his unpretentious idiosyncrasies, captivating footage of him in recording sessions and reflections from family members about living with mental illness for over forty years.
