Macross 7: The Galaxy is Calling Me!

For those familiar with the series and like it, this will be a treat. It is a thirty minute short film that features improved animation, and takes place towards the end of the series. It has one incredible song, Heat and Soul, which happens to be my favorite song prior Dynamite 7. The story isn't some epic, but it is similar to fleet of the strongest woman or the encore episodes. Overall, a nice 30 minutes spent for fans of the series, those who aren't familiar with Macross 7 will only feel lost though. This is a movie based on the show, there will be no character development worthy of someone new the series, but fans of the show will surely enjoy this 'movie'.
