A Good Knight's Leap

In this suspenseful drama, the main character must use wisdom as he plans his next move, or the result could be checkmate. Based on the novel by Charles A. Frye and adapted for the screen and directed by his son, Sekou C. Frye, the film addresses common issues which affect black family dynamics and constructs. The main character explores the role that faith plays in the choosing between right and wrong, as well as taboos within the African-American worship community and the African-American community at large.
