Jack Potter, Marshal of Yellow Sky, a dusty outpost on the sands of west Texas comes home on a train with his new bride. In the meantime, the town ne'er do well is drunk and shooting up the town. Potter and his nemesis Scratchy Wilson are both of an era when all was settled with the draw of a gun. But it is 1901. A different twist and more than a few surprises comes from a final confrontation on a lonely deserted street.
