New York on the Clock is a documentary web series that follows random New Yorkers on the job for one day. The web show strives to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the diversity of jobs found in a metropolis environment. Typically, the jobs featured are not jobs found in small communities and usually unique to big cities. Some of the careers featured are gourmet chef, noodle maker, fashion designer, dog walker and breeder, blacksmith, professional dancer, hand model, distance education learner, professional tattoo artist, semi-professional baseball pitcher and a fantasy gourmet baker. The documentary highlights the highs and lows of each profession, including biographies of the workers that includes their hobbies and how they landed the current job. Through the documentary, viewers can see how these random professions work together to make a big city successful. If these particular jobs didn't exist there would be gaps in the need fulfillment of its citizens.MORE
