Jamie Kaler

An accomplished actor, writer, and stand-up comic, Jamie's list of credits are as diverse as his career. Jamie stars in the new comedy series My Boys, which airs on TBS. He also has had recurring parts on Will and Grace, King of Queens, Significant Others, and the Seth Green animated show Robot Chicken. In addition he has had numerous guest star roles on shows such as Monk and Friends. Jamie's recent film credits include Underclassmen, Spanglish and The Family Stone. On top of all of this he has appeared in over fifty national commercials. As the youngest child of a large Irish family and a New Hampshire native, Jamie was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy. This proved to be his first "World Tour" as he was stationed in San Diego and enjoyed "serving his country" in ports like Hong Kong, Perth, and Bangkok. Realizing he wanted to be Henry Fonda as Mr. Roberts more than he wanted to be Mr. Roberts, he resigned his commission as a Lieutenant and decided to try acting. He hasn't looked back. With a rich life full of travel, numerous jobs, and a huge family, his comedy comes from a place of truth. A storyteller at heart, his humor touches upon the sped up pace of this world and the longing for simpler times. He believes you can find the character of a man by the way he responds to embarrassment. A fixture on the LA comedy scene, Jamie is a member of the Acme Comedy Theatre Main Company. MORE
