You've Got a Friend is a prank show on MTV, created by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, the twisted minds behind Punk'd. The show centers on contestants who have signed up to win $15,000 by having a new best friend for 48 hours. Sounds pretty easy right? Not with this show it isn't, the new best friend is loud, obnoxious, and trying to make the contestant's life a living nightmare. The contestant has to go along with everything the new best friend wants for 48 hours, if at any time the contestant refuses the game is over and they lose. With an anything goes attitude the best friend will push the limits of what any person could tolerate. The contestant has to suffer in silence, because if at any point during the 48 hours they tell that best friend isn't real, they lose the cash.
