Young Hercules

Young Hercules is an action adventure TV series developed by Fox Kids that acted as a spin-off to Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, following the adventures and heroics of a young Hercules (Ryan Gosling), a tremendously strong son of the king of the gods, Zeus, and a mortal woman, Alcmene. Before Hercules became the hero that he was in his adult life, he was merely a student training to become a warrior at the centaur Cheiron's (Nathaniel Lees) Academy, training with other heroic warriors such as the prince Jason (Chris Conrad), later known for his fame with the Argonauts, a thieving bandit Iolaus (Dean O'Gorman), and the first female fighter Lilith (Jodie Rimmer). As Hercules tries his hardest to live up to his father's heredity, it seems his half-brother Ares (Kevin Tod Smith), the god of war, wants nothing more than to destroy him with the help of his nephew Strife (Joel Tobeck) and his sister Discord (Meighan Desmond).
