xxxHOLiC

xxxHolic is an animated supernatural comedy directed by Tsutomu Mizushima based on the Clamp manga series of the same name that centers on the overemotional Kimihiro Watanuki, a mismatched eyed teenager with the burdening ability of seeing spirits, something that would have been okay if they didn’t seem to gravitate towards him all the time. When he stumbles upon a shop owned by the immature Yuko Ichihara who operates in the world of granting wishes, he makes a deal with her to work for her if she removes his ability. It’d take him a few years but once his tenure is done in the shop, where he runs around getting sake at all hours and cleaning up after the indulgent Yuko, but when he’s done, he’d be spirit free. The problem is that he has to work with Shizuka Domeki, a young man with the ability to exorcise spirits and is disliked by Watanuki, and he’s kept away from the girl he likes, the bad luck Himawari Kunogi. xxxHolic is a crossover series with a multitude of other Clamp series, including the Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle.
