XIII

XIII is a thriller TV mini-series based on a comic book series and game of the same name developed by Jean Van Hamme and William Vance that revolves around a young man (Stephen Dorff) as he struggles to remember his past. The only facts are his wounds, a parachute, and a tattoo on his chest of the roman numerals XIII. As he’s taken care of by an elderly couple, the United States is in an uproar dealing with the assassination of the first female president, Sally Sheridan (Mimi Kuzyk) three months earlier. The U.S. government is trying to close in on the assassin with all signs pointing to XIII. When the NSA close in on him, XIII’s tactical skills manage to take out the soldiers and pushes him to go on the run to gain answers to the identity of a woman in a photo, to why his tattoo links him to a secret society, and why a shady The Mongoose (Val Kilmer) is on the hunt for him.
