WWII in HD is a ten-part war documentary TV series developed by the History Channel that centers on the firsthand experiences of service members during World War II. Narrator Gary Sinise shares the unique views of twelve very different participants during the war, including that of an Army nurse, a member of the Tuskegee Airmen , a second generation Japanese American prisoner of war, an Austrian Jew immigrant, a jazz musician and eventual journalist, and an author of short stories.
