Wilfred is an Australian comedy series about a young woman, her boyfriend, and her dog that is trying to keep them from being together. Adam (Adam Zwar) and Sarah (Cindy Waddingham) have just started to really hit it off. Adam is head over heels, without a care in the world, until he meets Sarah's dog Wilfred (Jason Gann), who is, and always has been, the most important thing in Sarah's world. Wilfred certainly doesn't plan to have that change now, and the audience is treated to the relentless banter of the two as Adam is put through the ringer for Sarah's affection. This charming little collection is based on the short film of the same name, winner of best comedy at Tropfest in 2002. Wilfred himself is seen as a dog to everyone except Adam, who sees him as a grown man in a dog costume. He smokes marijuana, and does everything like a human would do. The show is outrageous and over the top, with all the subtleties you'd expect from a man in a dog costume taking bong rips and peeing standing up. The word is out, Wilfred is doggone hilarious.MORE
