Wallace & Gromit

Wallace & Gromit are characters created in 1989 by Nick Park first featured in the short film A Grand Day Out and produced by Aardman Animation studios. Wallace is a not-so-bright inventor who creates very elaborate machines that often work in a manner different to their intention and also loves cheese. Gromit is Wallace's dog who is much more intelligent than Wallace, but does not speak at all. The Complete Collection of Wallace & Gromit features all of their short film adventures in one set. Their first adventure, A Grand Day Out, is included along with The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, and A Matter of Loaf and Death. Two of the shorts included (The Wrong Trousers, and A Close Shave) both received Academy Awards for best animated short, while A Grand Day Out and A Matter of Loaf and Death were both nominated in the category.
