Waking the Dead

Waking the Dead is a police drama TV series created by Barbara Machin developed for BBC America that centers on the Cold Case Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department of the British Police as they investigate the unsolved cases. The unit is led by Detective Superintendent Peter Boyd (Trevor Eve), a workaholic and aggressive man whose dedication to the job is spurned by the disappearance of one of his sons and the ultimate tumultuous lives of his surviving sons. He is helped by the very experienced psychological profiler Dr. Grace Foley (Sue Johnston), the typical Ògood copÓ Detective Inspector Spencer Jordan (Wil Johnson), the forensic pathologist Dr. Eve Lockhart (Tara FitzGerald), and the newest edition Detective Sergeant Katrina Howard (Stacey Roca).
