VH1 Tough Love

VH1’s Tough Love is a reality show starring matchmaker Steven Ward as he works with women who are unlucky in love to improve themselves and their love lives. He works with his mother, Joann Ward, also a matchmaker, to give both a man’s and woman’s perspective on what the women who appear on the show have been doing wrong. Steve never sugarcoats his opinion, and his brutal honesty can help women make the changes they need to find love. Steve conducts a Tough Love Boot Camp, where the eight women who have come to him for help work on finding out, why, although attractive and successful, they are still single. Once Steve tells them what the problem is, they can then figure out how to solve it, and if they follow his rules, the boot camp comes with a guarantee that by the end of the course, they will be ready to land the man of their dreams. In addition to his candid nature, Steve’s intelligence, insightfulness, and outside-of-the-box way of thinking will help these women understand the male psyche and supply the tough love they need to be able to find love of their own.
