Vanishing Son

Vanishing Son is the TV action series that follows the life of Jian-Wa Chang, a musician who is blamed for murder and becomes a fugitive. Jian-Wa, played by Russell Wong, is a musician who fled the People's Republic of China to come to the USA after being involved in a student demonstration against the government. Jian-Wa and his brother escaped to the United States and started new lives. Jian-Wa focused on his music, while Wago became involved in organized crime. When Wago and two US Federal Agents turn up dead, the blame is put on Jian-Wa. He becomes a fugitive, using his smarts, martial arts skills, and music to keep himself safe and free, while trying to bring the real murderer, a Vietnamese gangster known as The General, to justice.
