Vampires Pirates and Aliens

Vampires Pirates and Aliens was a CITV animated television show based on the children's book by Colin Hawkins and Jacqui Hawkins. It aired in 2001 and lasted seventy eight episodes. It featured such characters as alien eye wobblers, swashbuckling sea pirates and blood sucking vampires. The show used three interweaving story segments featuring a vampire called 'The Blods,' the pirate Captain Blunder and his dysfunctional crew who ride the seas in the pirate ship called The Mad Maggot, and a group of Extraterrestrials trying to get back to their home planet while hiding from the evil clutches of the Zoo master. The show was designed by Cosgrove Hall Films. The show is now online at Kid Mango and select episodes are available for sale on DVD. The show was made in association with the French entertainment company Millimage. It was shortlsted for a Pulcinella Award in its first season. MORE
