Valentine

Valentine is a romantic comedy and drama series which premiered on the CW TV network in October of 2008. The subject of Valentine is the titular Valentine family, who are a makeshift family of gods living among humans; their mission is to unite soulmates, through whatever means necessary. However, the gods (played by Jaime Murray, Kristoffer Polaha, Christine Lakin, Robert Baker, Autumn Reeser and more) have a difficult time performing their tasks in today's world, and, if they are unable to complete them, are threatened with the fate of becoming mortal. And so, the family of gods must conceal their true identity and purpose. In the first episode of the series, Grace (Jaime Murray), who is secretly the goddess Aphrodite, introduces the threat of mortality to the other gods, and, to their disapproval, brings in romance novelist Kate (Christine Lakin) to tutor them in the art of matchmaking, and they soon learn that their task will not be an easy one.
