U.S. of ANT, hosted by the affable comedian ANT, is a gay travel show produced for the Logo network. Purposefully visiting locations that might not be considered gay-friendly, ANT seeks out lesbian, gay, bisexual, and straight subjects to interview about gay presence in small town America. In the first episode ANT traveled to Montana to find that acceptance and love are prevalent even in the city of Butte. Destinations from the first season include Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, New Hampshire, and Texas. In each of the locations, ANT, in his typically irreverent comedic manner, emphasizes that tolerance can be found throughout the United States, even in the most stereotypically anti-gay places. While ANT sometimes encounters the bigotry that might be expected, the show always ends with a positive, life-affirming message of acceptance and humor. Premiering in 2006, U.S. of ANT was one of the original gay themed travel shows broadcast on Logo.MORE
