Uraboku

Uraboku, also known as Betrayal Knows My Name, is a Japanese-style animated ("anime") series based on the manga by Odagiri Hotaru. The series is an existential quest for a young boy, Sakurai Yuki, who was abandoned as a young child in an orphanage. He is gifted with the special power to read the minds and feel the emotions of people he touches. His unusual ability to connect deeply with people in such an intimate, immediate way makes him more and more reserved as he grows up, pushing him away further and further from people. As he gets older he becomes more and more independent as his power becomes more and more developed. Strange occurrences start to happen, as he crosses paths with a man who has an uncanny association with some memory in his past. Sakurai begins receiving mysterious death threats before he runs into a man who claims to be his sibling. MORE
