Untamed and Uncut

Untamed and Uncut is an "animal reality show" on Animal Planet that features footage of close encounters with nature's most exciting, and dangerous, animals. The 13-part series showcases real, raw footage of animal encounters in the wild, as well as unexpected places. All of the recorded videos feature either an animal attacking a human, animals fighting with other animals, animals going buck in a human environment (neighborhood, performance, show etc), or an animal being rescued from a perilous situation, like being trapped or suffering from a critical injury. Some situations include a bull jumping into a crowd at a rodeo, an alligator attacking its handler, orcas attacking a seal, or an eel biting off someone's finger. While no one is usually injured in these situations, there are times that minor injuries are sustained, including a few deaths. The show, premiering on Animal Planet in June 2008, is in its second season. MORE
