Ulysses in the 31st Century is an animated science fiction fantasy TV series developed by DIC Audiovisuel and Tokyo Movie Shinsha based on the Greek tale of Odysseus, a Greek King who spends years wandering far from home after angering the gods A brave and noble Captain of the spaceship, the Odyssey, Ulysses had been a loyal commander, that is until the Cyclops kidnapped his son, Telemachus, and the two other children, Yumi and Numinor. In a fit of anger, the ancient gods freeze his crew and sends him into the far reaches of space to roam aimlessly until he can find the Kingdom of Hades.
