Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns is a TBS sitcom spin-off of the TV series Tyler Perry's House of Payne, which revolves around the family of seniors including protagonist Leroy Brown (David Mann), his daughter Cora Simmons (Tamela Mann) and characters like Colonel Cleophus Jackson, a military man who can't leave his past behind, and the former actress Daisy LaRue. The seniors live together in Atlanta, Georgia, which was passed down from Leroy's father Pop Brown. When Leroy discovers a note that asked him to "take care of the old--", he misses the second page which said "--Thunderbird in the garage", and takes it as instructions to care for the elderly, opening his own home for seniors called Brown Meadows. When a nearby seniors home has a fire, Brown Meadows quickly fills up and Mr. Brown is in over his head with a cast full of funny characters moving in.
