Tyler Perry's House Of Payne is a TBS dramedy about the Payne family, Clarence James (C.J. Payne, Jr (Allen Payne), Curtis (LaVan Davis), Ella (Cassi Davis), Janine (Demetria McKinney), Calvin (Lance Gross), Miranda (Keshia Knight Pulliam), Malik (Larramie "Doc" Shaw), Jazmine, Hayden, and Jayden. C.J. is the responsible adult, father of Malik, Jazmine, Jayden and Hayden, and leader of the family, moving in with Uncle Curtis and Aunt Ella after his house burns down. Uncle Curtis is loud, rude, and doesn't accept his nephew's family into the house, and tries to ride the house of them. Aunt Ella is the voice of reason, turning to religion to try to hold the family together. Janine is C.J.'s wife, who seems to be a responsible mother, but is revealed to be a drug addict who burned down their home. Their children include the girl-crazy Malik, the sarcastic and sly Jazmine, and the young twins Hayden and Jayden.
