'Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the Night Before Christmas is an animated Christmas show special that originally aired on the CBS Network on December 8, 1974. The special is based on the poem of the same name, by Clement Clarke Moore. Set in the fictional town of Junctionville, NY around the turn of the 20th century, Santa Claus is saddened by the words of a newspaper article, stating that he does not exist. When Father Mouse (George Gobel) heard about this article, he automatically suspects that his son Albert (Tammy Grimes) is the one who wrote the article. Father Mouse builds a singing clock that plays a song convincing Santa not to bypass Junctionville. Father Mouse goes into the clock and unintentionally damages it. Albert decides to fix the clock himself, but is it too late? Did Santa already decide to skip Junctionville? 'Twas the Night Before Christmas remains one of the most loved holiday films of all time.
