Trollz is an animated children’s television series from DiC Entertainment, on CBS. The show revolves around five teenage troll girls in the world of Trollzopolis, who consider themselves ‘best friends for life.’ Trollzopolis is an urban version of the once-bustling magical metropolis, from which an evil gremlin, Simon (Reece Thompson) stole most of the magic 3,000 years ago. Now only female Trollz can do magic, and only with the assistance of their glowing belly button gems. When the five girls, Amethyst Van Der Troll (Britt McKillip), Ruby Trollman (Chiara Zanni), Sapphire Trollzawa (Alexandra Carter), Topaz Trollhopper (Leah Juel), and Onyx Von Trollenberg (Anna Van Hooft) accidentally release Simon from his dimensional prison by unwittingly using the Magic of Five, they must find a way to banish Simon back to his prison before he finds a way to take over Trollzopolis, again. They have the help of their trendy spell phones and their boyfriends along the way, but they also have their rivals at school to contend with.
