Trauma

Trauma was a medical drama from NBC starring Cliff Curtis, Anastasia Griffith, Derek Luke, Kevin Rankin, Aimee Garcia, Taylor Kinney, Jamey Sheridan, and Cliff Curtis. The show was a high-adrenaline look into the dangerous lives of San Francisco-based first responder paramedics in the field. The team from San Francisco City Hospital must race against the clock to reach its victims in times to save their lives, regardless of what obstacle may lie in its way. Among those paramedics are Reuben “Rabbit Palchuck (Cliff Curtis), a daredevil flight medic who has a knack for getting into trouble and coming out unscathed. He is the sole survivor a devastating helicopter crash during a rescue mission that claims two paramedic team members. The crash greatly affects the team, especially intelligent med school graduate Nancy Carnahan (Anastasia Griffith), who loses her partner in the disaster, and stoic paramedic Carmeron Boone (Derek Luke), who loses two of his closest friends. Boone’s partner, Tyler Briggs (Kevin Rankin), is the team’s sharp, experienced authority. Iraq War vet Marisa Benez (Aimee Garcia) is Rabbit’s new rookie partner. Taylor Kinney ("Fashion House") also shines as rookie EMT Glenn Morris, a man determined to keep a steady head amid the chaos of the job. San Francisco City Hospital’s Dr. Joe Saviano (Jamey Sheridan), does his best to mentor the others and keep the team in line with tough love. NBC's Trauma was canceled after one season. MORE
