Transformers is an animated television show spawned from the popular toy franchise of the same name. The television show focuses on two opposing robot armies that are fighting for universal supremacy. The team that is fighting for peace in the universe is led by Optimus Prime and they are fighting against a group led by Megatron. The Autobots and Deceptacons wage a war that determines the fate of the universe leaving Earththings as casual bystanders offering nothing. Transformers also inspired a spin-off series called Beast Wars which featured the two groups of robots landing on Earth and continuing their battle in Beast modes acquired from animals during the Jurassic age.
