Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian comedic mockumentary television series that ran from 2001 to 2008 on Showcase, starring Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, Mike Smith, John Dunsworth, Patrick Roach, Lucy Decoutere, and Sarah E. Dunsworth. The show revolves around the lives of a colorful bunch of neighbors, some of whom are even ex-convicts, who live in a trailer park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Ricky (Robb Wells), Julian (John Paul Tremblay), and Bubbles (Mike Smith) spend half of their time cooking up new get-rich-quick schemes and the other half trying to stay out of jail. Trailer Park Supervisor James “Jim” Lahey (John Dunsworth) spends his time trying to foil their get-rich-quick schemes, which tend not to be on the moral, or even legal, side of things. Sometimes the boys get their neighbors involved, sometimes they do end up behind bars, and sometimes things seem to actually be going well for them—but do not worry, that is only temporary.
