Tough As Nails is the HGTV series that follows residential contractor Cindy Stumpo as she builds high-end multi-million-dollar luxury homes. Cindy got her start because of something her father said to her, "girls don't build houses." Determined to prove him wrong, she took her general contractors test at age 23, passed, and started her own company. C. Stumpo Development was born, and she led her team in remodeling condos and small properties, moving up to building bigger properties within a few years, and now working on custom homes worth millions. Cindy has even taken home the "Builder of the Year" business award. Cindy is always moving, with two cell phones going at all times, trying to keep her contractors, employees, and even her ex-husband in line. If running her multi-million dollar company wasn't enough, she's also a single mom with two kids.
