Top Design is a reality series on Bravo that premiered on January 31st 2007. The show follows a group of talented interior designers as they compete in a series of challenges to win a spot in New York’s Designer Showcases. On each episode, the designers must compete in two challenges: the Pop Design challenge, a quick assignment that determines immunity, and the main elimination challenge, in which contestants work alone or in teams to satisfy the requirements of their assigned task. A panel of highly-respected judges determines the strongest and weakest designs, and one contestant is named the challenge winner, while another is sent home. The first season of Top Design was hosted by Todd Oldham, an American designer, and Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell, and Kelly Wearstler served as judges. While season two maintained the original panel of judges, Oldham was replaced by fashion model, India Hicks, as host. Oldham did remain on the program, however, and served as a mentor to the designers. Top Design aired for two seasons on Bravo, concluding on November 5th, 2008.MORE
