Toddlers & Tiaras

Toddlers and Tiaras is a TLC television series about the little girls and boys whose parents regularly enter them in beauty pageants across the country. The show chronicles three families per episode in the weeks leading up to the big event, while their children, some of whom have been competing since the age of 8 months old, prepare for their shot at the crown. This includes taking modeling classes and dance lessons, preparing their talents, looking for gowns, getting hair and makeup ready with fake eyelashes, hair extensions, fingernails, spray tans, and even the occasional set of false toenails, so that the judges can see the best of their talents, beauty, and personality on the day of the pageant. Some of their parents have a tendency going over the top, pushing their daughters to wear more makeup and less clothing- do they just have their child's best interests at heart, with the pride of winning a crown, a title, and scholarship cash?
